Primus 2011 Carmenère (Colchagua Valley)

Similar to the 2010 Primus, this is earthy, wholesome and soundly built. Aromas of meaty fruit, leather and licorice are earthy and inviting. The palate feels chewy and medium to full, with dark plum, carob, loam and blackberry flavors. A warm, mildly baked finish concludes this round, very nice red. Michael Schachner
