This powerfully structured wine offers earthy aromas of underbrush, porcini mushroom, leather, tobacco, berry and game. The savory palate delivers crushed black cherry accented with clove, sage, white pepper, balsamic notes and mineral. It's still young and wound-up but it holds all the key elements. Drink 2020–2045.
