Prinz Salm 2001 Wallhäuser Johannisberg Riesling (Nahe)

This is a big, sturdy, dry Riesling, made to be matched with rich dishes. Limes combine with green floral notes on the nose to give a sense of freshness, then apple and peach flavors take over. The finish is long and intense, folding in hints of fresh mint. —J.C. Joe Czerwinski
