Prinz Salm 2016 Binger Scharlachberg Grosse Lage GG Trocken Riesling (Rheinhessen)

Cellar Selection

This is an intensely ripe, penetrating wine full of concentrated yellow peach and even red berry notes. At the same time, it's deeply earthy with stony mineral undertones and striking acidity. Dry and full bodied in style, it finishes on a delicate fringe of tannins. A bold, satisfying wine that should improve well through 2030, likely longer. Anna Lee C. Iijima
