93pointsProducteurs Plaimont 2014 Monastère de (Saint-Mont)

Cellar Selection

Intense and rich, this wine is named after the former monastery that dominates the village of Saint-Mont. It is full of dark fruits, with rich tannins from the Tannat in the blend perfumed by the Cabernet Franc and Pinenc. Ripe, intense and structured, the wine is just coming into full maturity. Drink from 2019. Roger Voss
