Project M 2017 Chehalem Mountain Vineyard Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

One of the winery's nicely varied single site selections, this is the ripest of all the 2017s, delivering big, chunky cherry fruit flavors. It's downright crunchy, with a solid core that is clear and clean, though could be termed one-dimensional. A burst of minerality adds texture through the finish. Paul Gregutt
