90pointsProulx 2016 Zinfandel (Paso Robles Willow Creek District)

Smashed boysenberry, rocky earth and loamy soil aromas show on the nose of this bottling, which includes 5% Syrah and 4% Petite Sirah. There is a strong purple flower and fruit combination on the palate, where açaí, Concord grape, lilac and violet converge, wrapped in a decent structure. Matt Kettmann
