Prunotto 2012 Riserva Bussia Vigna Colonnello (Barolo)

Wild strawberry, pressed rose, dried aromatic herb and a potpourri of dark culinary spice are just some of the aromas you'll find on this well-structured wine. On the tightly knit palate, taut yet polished tannins frame flavors of raspberry compote, black cherry, licorice, graphite and a hint of orange rind. It's balanced but still young, so give it a few more years to fully develop. Drink 2022–2030. Kerin O’Keefe
