Psagot 2016 Peak Red (Jerusalem)

With aromas of cherry pie, cassis and braised fennel, this wine is dark ruby in color. It offers a palate-pleasing combination of fruit and spice flavors including purple plum, black currant, anisette, clove, sage and oregano. Rugged tannins drop off into a finish marked with dried herb notes. Mike DeSimone
