Qi Black Lapsang Souchong Tea Liqueur

The unusual bouquet offers aromas of burning rubber tire, burnt autumn leaves, Band-Aids and burnt tropical fruit. Palate entry is intensely smoky—even smokier than the bouquet; midpalate offers aggressive flavors of Lapsang Souchong, wood smoke, cigarette ash and creosote. Idiosyncratic and interesting but not for everyone. P.P.
