This is a more assertively ripened, pure Grenache than previously seen from Quady. It's loaded with blueberry fruit and chocolate cream, yielding a smooth and almost buttery wine that generously coats the palate with accents of butter brickle and toasted almonds. It's bursting with up-front flavor and backed with sufficiently stiff tannins to age over the next half decade or longer. Paul Gregutt
