Initial cherry and violet aromas take on more herbal, green and grassy scents as the bouquet expands. In the mouth, this hits hard, while baked, spicy flavors of herbal plum and berry finish leafy and stewed, with carob and toast. As a whole, this is typical of Salta Malbec. Michael Schachner
