Made for the long haul from one of Otago's most highly respected winemakers, Rudi Bauer, this is drinking well now, offering up a heady mix of raisiny red currants, florals, soy sauce, mushrooms and tree sap. It's medium to full bodied, with a line of focused acidity amidst dusty tannins and a long, cumin and herbal finish. Drink now–2027.
