This uncommon marriage of big-boned red grapes seems overripe and bloated. Flavors of rum-drenched fruitcake and black plums mingle with dark chocolate and meat in the middle, but it's around the edges where it suffers. It has no noticeable acidity or balance. Hot, heavy, raisiny and seemingly stewed.
