Made from century-old vines at Quinta das Carvalhas, this is a solid, dark, beautifully ageworthy wine. Black fruits, layers of juiciness, rich tannins and spice from the wood all contribute to a firm, extracted wine that needs several years to soften. Drink from 2018.
