The baby brother to the richer, more robust Carmo red is light and fruity enough, with an emphasis on red raspberries and some buttery oak. Unfortunately, it doesn't really have the stuffing to hold up to food. And it isn't a sipping wine, either. So it sort of falls neither here nor there.
