Quinta do Crasto 2001 Reserva Old Vines Red (Douro)

A smooth, spicy, juicy wine that is packed with ripe, fresh, black fruit flavors. It has dry tannins but these are balanced by the acidity and forward fruit. Quinta do Crasto, was one of the first estates on the Douro to make top-class table wines, and it still sets a benchmark. Roger Voss
