Quivira 2000 Zinfandel (Dry Creek Valley)

Defines the appellation with its well-ripened wild berry fruit, dry, dusty tannins and elegant acids, but marred for me by the taste of raisins. Curiously, the reported alcohol is a modest 13.7%, and the wine doesn't taste hot. But those overripe flavors detract from an otherwise beautiful wine.
