Fits the mold of traditional Rioja Crianza. The nose has oaky warmth and a slight mulchy quality that probably comes from the hot vintage. But it's holding in there with ripe black cherry and berry flavors that are accented by chocolate, vanilla and cola. Has grabby tannins and is ready to go now.
