R.H. Phillips 1999 Toasted Head EXP Syrah (Dunnigan Hills)

A rich, dry, somewhat tannic all-purpose red wine, if you're looking for something full-bodied. Doesn't seem particularly true to the variety, with its generic red and black stone-fruit flavors, and could easily be Merlot. But it's clean, well-made and sturdy enough to stand up to big, rich foods.
