88pointsR. Stuart & Co. 2017 Daffodil Hill Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity Hills)

Though listed as higher in alcohol than the excellent 2016, this new vintage seems reductive and finishes short. Appealing flavors of brown spices and black cherry fruit are evident, and aggressive aeration and/or further bottle aging should help to open it up further. Paul Gregutt
