Rainer Wess 2018 Ried Loibenberg Riesling (Wachau)

A yeasty touch still clings to the nose and gives a creamy aspect to the stone fruit scents on the nose. The palate continues this creamy-fruity theme but adds a wonderful green citrus zestiness that also provides a pithy, pleasantly bitter texture as a counterpoint to the generous, rounded fruit. The finish is dry and zesty and wonderfully aromatic. Anne Krebiehl MW
