Ramón Bilbao 2002 Mirto (Rioja)

Stout and generally quite pure, with aromas of leather and berries that thicken and gather density with airing. The palate is your standard new-age blend of dark cherry and raspberry, while the finish is oaky, warm and spicy. Very nice, if a touch jammy and simple. Michael Schachner
