Rancho Sisquoc 2009 Flood Family Vineyards Syrah (Santa Barbara County)

This is a likeable Syrah for drinking now. It has soft acids and tannins that frame notes of jammy cherry and blackberry. The flavors are sweet on the midpalate, but finish dry and spicy.
