Rancho Sisquoc 2016 Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County)

Subtle aromas of lemon bar, white peach, passion fruit soda and chalk show on the nose of this bottling, which comes from one of the region's older properties. It's very zippy and fresh on the palate, and that racy character fades into Pink Lady apple and mandarin orange flavors. Matt Kettmann
