Rancho Sisquoc 2016 Tre Vini Flood Family Vineyards Red (Santa Barbara County)

Cherry, crushed slate, wet soil, brick and dried leather make for a compelling nose in this enjoyable blend of 56% Sangiovese, 26% Syrah and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a tang of red berry fruit on the palate as well as integrated sandalwood spice. Matt Kettmann
