There's an intently Old World feel to this powerful Malbec that is bolstered by shades of leather and barnyard, char and dark toast. The palate is rich, almost ruddy, with black plum and cherry flavors, but balanced by zesty acidity. Coarse, mouth dampening tannins mark the finish now, but should meld nicely from 2020 through 2023.
