Raymond 2001 Generations Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)

This is not one of your big, opulent Napa Cabs. The decision seems to have been made to rein it in, keep it drier and tarter and, in theory, more elegant and ageworthy. It does boast good cherry and cassis fruit and oak, and is thoroughly dry.
