Early on it struggles to shed forced, candied aromas. But it doesn't take too long for perfumed raspberry and sweet berry aromas to emerge. The palate is round and mildly sweet, with familiar blackberry and other easygoing flavors. Pleasant and round, with good but basic structure and tannins. A wine to drink without pondering.
