Perfumed aromas of dried lemon and orange peels blend with chamomile and dried lemon thyme on the nose, with wet slate riding underneath. The flavors of fleshy yellow apple and juiced lemon remain pure and bright on the medium-bodied palate, with a mineral twang lifting them up. From a trying vintage, this lack the cohesion and persistence of previous iterations, yet still provides great drinking appeal in the near term. Alexander Peartree
