Sprinkled with hits of lime, salt and smoky shards of slate and flint, this zingy semidry Riesling is a classic expression of the Saar. It's gorgeously ripe this vintage, highlighting concentrated white peach and Mirabelle flavors, yet thrilling in acidity. The finish lingers on a fine crush of crystalline minerality. A touch shy in youth but should gain power and complexity well through 2035 and hold much further. Anna Lee C. Iijima
