Reininger 1999 Syrah (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

Pretty middle-of-the-road juice, by all panelists' accounts, the Reininger has lots of tart berry fruit and toasted oak flavors and aromas, plus a long, dry, wood-and-peanut shells finish. Has some nice coffee and chocolate notes along the way, but has quite a bit of wood and acid.
