Reininger 2002 Carmenère (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

This is 100% Carmenère; a delicious, chewy, tart, racy wine with strong herbal elements and lots of black pepper. Woody and herbal, with powerful tannins, it needs some breathing time; then it opens out and lengthens through a rich, silky finish. Paul Gregutt
