Renato Ratti 2003 Marcenasco (Barolo)

The least expensive of the Ratti Barolos tasted, it shows very well, with pretty aromas of plums, thyme and mushroom. Light bodied, it has enough structure and concentration to carry it, and the flavors of plum and thyme come through the palate to a soft, layered finish.
