René Muré 2018 Clos Saint Landelin Pinot Noir (Alsace)

Only the merest hint of black cherry breaks through on the shy nose of this wine. With more air, hints of iron oxide and salty savor also appear. The palate comes in with juicy freshness that speaks of ripeness and finesse in equal measure. This wine expresses the juiciness of the vintage but presents an effortless, energetic flow, with red-fruited freshness and verve. On the finish touches of smoke and cocoa lends extra roundness.
