Renwood 2016 Sangiovese (Amador County)

This smoky, peppery wine is a great change of pace for Cabernet and Pinot Noir drinkers. Toasted oak and black pepper dominate the aromas, while meaty, dried plum flavors fill out the palate. A medium to full body and moderate tannins provide an appetizing texture. Jim Gordon
