A big, mammoth style of Tempranillo. The color is dark as night, and the body is oily and unctuous. And that's perfectly fine in the modern scheme of things; however, the flavors are a bit mute and slightly herbal, while the big, sassy berry fruit that RDD is known for is here but doesn't overwhelm. A solid wine to drink now.
