Reverie 2007 Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Diamond Mountain District)

Cellar Selection

Reverie had some real challenges with tannins in this vintage. All their reds are super-hard and astringent, almost old-fashioned in their undrinkabiity during youth, and so it is with this reserve. It's quite rich in blackberries and smoky, oaky cedar wood, though, and possesses a structural integrity that should protect it for many years. So cellar it. 2013–2019.
