Rex Hill 2001 Southern Oregon Cuvee Pinot Noir (Oregon)

The grapes were grown in southern Oregon, not the Willamette Valley, and the wine is a much darker and more tannic style of Pinot than what you might think of as coming from Oregon. Earthy and hard, with a rubber tire component. Paul Gregutt
