Starts off with some promising aromas of licorice and plum, but seems a touch overripe, as the fruit turns pruny and chocolaty on the palate. Despite that, it remains balanced by crisp acids and isn't overly heavy, instead offering a somewhat generic red wine experience. Joe Czerwinski
