Winemaker Mario Pinheiro worked in South Africa and with the Chenin Blanc grape there. Bringing it to the Alentejo produces a surprisingly similar ripe, warm style of wine that's still fresh and citrusy while also having signs of bright pineapple and minerality. Drink from 2015.
