Richard Böcking 2018 Schlossberg Gold Cap Riesling (Mosel)

Whiffs of freshly laundered linen and lifted white florals introduce this bracing nearly-dry Riesling sourced from biodynamically grown grapes. While slim in profile, it's a concentrated white packed with ripe pear and yellow-plum flavors. The finish is gripped by a delicate rim of tea tannins, smoke and spice. Anna Lee C. Iijima
