Ricochet 2021 Confluence Rosé (Columbia Gorge (OR))

This is a field blend of Syrah (40%), Malbec (40%) and Viognier. Pale-salmon colored, the aromas aren't particularly revealing, while the palate has broad feeling, juicy strawberry, kiwi and pineapple flavors. The profile is unusual for a rosé, but it works. Five percent of proceeds go to non-profit organizations to help people bounce back, which is where the winery gets its name. Sean P. Sullivan
