Rio Perdido 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mendoza)

Toasty oak that smells like sawdust is dominant and covers up any fruit that might want to escape. A clunky, raw-feeling palate is home to herbal, oaky flavors and not much fruit. Burn and bitterness come up on the finish. Michael Schachner
