Rios de Chile 2011 Reserva Carmenère (Cachapoal Valley)

Minty aromas include whiffs of cola, bramble, animal fur and berry fruit. Feels creamy and solid, with standard berry fruit flavors, minty herbal notes and blatant oak. Finishes green and simple; a good representation of basic Carmenère. Michael Schachner
