Rios de Chile 2014 Reserva Merlot (Cachapoal Valley)

Dark in color and jammy on the nose, this seemingly ripe Merlot smells of plum, blackberry and raisin. In the mouth, it's blocky and tannic, with nonintegrated high acidity. Salty, briny blackberry flavors finish peppery and with drying, hard tannins. Michael Schachner
