An interesting composition of aromas and flavors that include black tea, red roses, violets with hints of smoke, char and toast that overlay fresh fruit notes of red and black plum as well as prune and raisin. Though tannins are a bit rough around the edges and midpalate is lacking a desired lift, this is an adequate expression appropriate for casual consumption. Stacy Briscoe
