The nose on this isn't very expressive but eventually reveals notes of red berry, baking spice and a whiff of grilled herb. The palate is raw and tannic, offering unripe sour cherry, young sage and ground pepper but it lacks fruit richness. Bracing tannins dry out the mouth.
