From a 10-year-old Wahluke Slope vineyard comes this impressive Sangio. The blend includes 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasted along with a Sangiovese selling for almost four times the price, it stood up quite well. The wine is a beautiful plummy color, fragrant and fruity, lovely in the mouth, tasting of fresh plums and strawberries. There is good concentration and a tangy snap to the finish. Paul Gregutt
