Riverbench 2016 Pommard Pinot Noir (Santa Maria Valley)

Ripe red cherry compote, turned earth and chaparral spice aromas of sagebrush and wild mint converge for a very complex and inviting nose on this clonal selection. Tart cherry and cranberry flavors grow tangier with a hint of orange rind on the palate, which is dusted with peppery spice and finishes on a rounded strawberry kick. Matt Kettmann
